About me
I am a self-taught artist, painter and photographer. I was born in Poznan, Poland in 1974, where I graduated from the University of Economics and Business in 1998 with a degree in Business Management and found work in the advertising and marketing businesses.
Inspired by my traveling and living experiences in Prague, London, and Buenos Aires in my late thirties, I chose to turn my life around and become a full-time artist. By now, I have exhibited my work physically in USA, Italy, The Czech Republic, and Poland. I remain a frequent traveler and continue to bring back experiences that fuel my work.
Currently I am based in Puszczykowo, Poland where I do my life's work at my quiet in-house studio, located right next to the pristine woods of the Greater Polish National Park.
Meanwhile, I continue my education at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, completing my post-graduate program in the History of Modern Art.
About my work
I want my paintings to have a strong impact on the viewer by capturing colourful, intriguing and mysterious stories. I explored artistic disciplines such as drawing, digital graphics, interior design and photography before turning to painting, and now focus on composing works influenced by the aesthetics of pop art and street art. I infuse my paintings with a melange of people, cities, travel, music and movies, and combines icons, lettering, metaphors and intense colours to achieve an overall vibrant aesthetic.
